Looking Forward. From creating the innovative Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning® to being the first community to offer adult day services and special care for those with dementia, Messiah Village has been the leader in the region for new innovations.

Sustaining Independence. Messiah Village offers the most comprehensive spectrum of care of any provider throughout the region. Home care, adult day services, a nurse liaison during hospital visits, and on-site physician practice allow older adults to enjoy choice and sustain their well-being.

Deeply Rooted. Messiah Village was founded in 1896 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania by the Brethren in Christ Church to serve older adults with Christ-like love. Today, Messiah Village continues to operate as a local non-profit committed to the same mission and governed by a board of directors made up of residents and local community members.
